The idea of having sweets has always been a great feeling. But don't you think they spoil your kids teeth away? Well let me guide you as to what you can do about it.

Sweets are often eaten during joyous occasions and festivals. Not only children, but we elders also get all excited about having sweets inspite of knowing that its equally carious for our teeth too.
How does it all happen?
The sugar content in sweets sticks onto your teeth and causes to accumulate bacteria which in turn eat away your teeth along with the sugar particles. Do you really have to avoid sweets completely? Can you make your kids stay away from sweets completely?

THE SECRET
Now that you know how sweets spoil your teeth, my job is much simpler to tell you what to do to avoid decay. All you need to do is thoroughly wash your mouth right after eating sweets. It is the one & only best way to save your teeth even after having sweets.
Your aim is to get rid of those sugar remnants that has stuck on your teeth. Thats it! You’ll no longer have to worry ever again.
The Obvious Don't !
Yet another thing to be said is DO NOT brush your teeth right after eating sweets or as a matter of fact, any other food. This will in no way help clean your teeth but in turn erode your teeth away and hence become sensitive to more decay. The science behind this is that the sugar stuck onto your teeth soon becomes acidic. So when you brush your teeth right away, your are basically brushing with acid which easily erodes your teeth surface. And Voila, you are doing more harm than good.
So just be nice and soft on your teeth and humbly wash of the acidic sweet deposits on your teeth with plane water. And you are good to go!
The MUST Do
Of-course you have to clean your teeth every 12 hours. That is the time gap when your bacteria will be strong enough to eat up your teeth. So just brush them away while you still can.
